• Description:

The ANT-5-4 is a motion sensor that dims lighting from high to low based on movement. This slim, compact sensor is designed for installation inside the bottom of a lighting fixture. The sensor plus module is connected to the ANT-5-4 sensor socket through a 1.30" diameter hole in the bottom of the fixture.

The sensor uses microwave sensing technology that reacts to changes in movement within the coverage area. Once the sensor stops detecting movement and the time delay has passed, the light will change from high mode to low mode, and eventually to the off position when needed.

Sensor must directly "see" motion of a person or moving object to detect them, so careful consideration must be given to sensor luminaires' placement and lens selection. Avoid placing the sensor where obstructions may block the sensor's line of sight.

Warm-up time is 15 seconds. After the sensor is connected to the input power at the first time, the light will be on for 15 seconds and then enter the normal dimming mode.

Factory Default Setting: 100% sensitivity.

Hold-on Time: 10 seconds, daylight sensor is 30lux.

Dimming Time: 60 minutes.

Any setting is changed by remote control. Dimming Level: 30%.

• Corridor function:

This design achieves third-level control inside the motion sensor, which is for some areas where a light change notice is required before switch-off. The sensor offers 3 levels of light: 100%, dimmed light (natural light is insufficient) and off, and 2 periods of selectable waiting time: motion hold-time and stand-by period, selectable daylight threshold and freedom of detection area.

• Self-diagnosis function:

The integrated self-diagnostic circuitry will automatically conduct tests of 30 minutes per month and 90 minutes per year to verify proper emergency capability per Life Safety Code requirements.

Press the test button to cut off the power of the AC driver and switch the system to emergency mode.

Released NFPA 101. Life Safety Code outlines the following schedule:

• Monthly - Ensure that the test button is illuminated. Conduct a 30-minute discharge test by depressing the test button. The LED load should operate at reduced output.

• Annually - Ensure that the test button is illuminated. Conduct a full 90-minute discharge test. The unit should operate as intended for the duration of the test.

ON : To test the emergency function, press the ON button and it will switch to emergency lighting and the indicator light will be off. Then press the OFF button, it will return to normal lighting. When main supply is off (emergency mode), pressing the OFF button can turn off emergency function

OFF: Remote control must be pointed at the indicator light within 45 degree angle to receive a signal. Remote control is operated by two AAA batteries (not included).

It is recommended that emergency output power should be more than 20 percent of output power of UFO high bay.
